I came to your site because of a conversation I had
with someone in a waiting room last week. She had made a lovely
large round felted “basket” with a round bottom, 3 knitted ridges
around the top that kept it open, and double I-cord handles. I
believe she mentioned a pattern from your site. I looked at all
the felted purses etc. but none are the same (it was closest to
the red one on your opening page). She called it a “snatch
basket.” Does this sound familiar?
|
Hello! I think she
might be looking for the Nantasket Basket. It is on
www.knittingzone.com
There is a $5 charge for the pattern.
Hope this helps! Trisha |

Hi
there, We were looking at your photo gallery and see a purse that
we'd like to make but don't see the pattern on your felted pattern
page. Can you post the pattern for the body hugging felted purse or
let me know where it would be available. It's so cute!
Thanks!
Carrie |
This
is the purse that Carrie is talking about in her email to me.
The pattern is not a free pattern, but one that I had purchased.
It's a "Two Old Bags Body Hugging Purse Pattern" and it can be
purchased from your local knitty shop or just about anywhere on the
net. Below are just a few links where you can purchase this
pattern on-line :) Happy Knitting! Kris
The buttons are from JoAnn's.

My 86 year old Mom had knitted herself a pair
of gloves years ago that were reversible. She tells me she uses a
very fine yarn but she has lost the pattern. Does anyone know of
such a pattern? These are her favorite gloves but as you can
imagine, need to be replaced now! Thank you so much |
